Accommodation in EBC Trek with Lobuche Peak Climbing

You will stay at a hotel or lodge of your preference as you arrive in Kathmandu. You’ll stay in teahouses along the trekking route and tents during the climbing portion of the journey. 

Most teahouse accommodations offer shared toilet facilities, while foam mattresses will be provided for tent accommodations. Toilet facilities will be provided during the climbing phase while ensuring natural preservation. All of the accommodations are based on twin sharing, however single rooms are available for an extra fee upon request.

You should also note that single-room availability may be limited, and some locations may not offer single accommodations. While the single supplement guarantees a single room in Kathmandu, availability may vary beyond Namche Bazaar.

Food

Throughout our journey, we can savor authentic Nepali cuisine, various ethnic dishes, and a wide array of international foods, including Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, and more. 

Your stay in Kathmandu includes a welcome dinner, a farewell dinner, and daily breakfasts. 

While trekking or climbing, breakfast will be served at our accommodation. Dinner arrangements will be similar, and lunch will be enjoyed along the route to our next destination. During the climbing phase, we’ll have hygienic, freshly cooked meals.

Everest Base Camp with Lobuche East Peak Climbing Itinerary

  • Day 0: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

    You have made it. You’ve made it to Nepal.

    A representative from the Trek and Adventure Nepal team will pick you up at the Tribhuvan International Airport and arrange to transfer you to your hotel.

    It is up to you if you want to explore Kathmandu or just get a well-deserved rest from the long flight.

    First thing in the morning, you’ll prepare yourself for a thrilling flight to Luka.

  • Day 01: Fly to Lukla (2,880m), and Trek to Phakding

    On the first day of your EBC with Lobuche Peak climbing trek, you’ll take an exhilarating flight early in the morning to Lukla. Lukla is the entry point to the Everest region. The scenic flight offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and rural landscapes below. 

    As you land in Lukla, you’ll have breakfast before beginning your trek to Phakding, a village with a deeper spiritual significance.

  • Day 02: Trek from Phakding (2,880m) to Namche Bazaar

    We’ll resume our hike along the Dudh Koshi River after breakfast, over suspension bridges and passing through quaint settlements.

    Our journey takes us through Sagarmatha National Park, where we’ll stop to obtain permits before continuing to Namche Bazaar.

    The trail to Namche Bazaar is both challenging and rewarding, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes. Upon reaching Namche, we’ll settle into our accommodations and explore the vibrant market town.

  • Day 03: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

    Today is a rest day to acclimatize to the altitude. 

    We’ll take a leisurely hike to Hotel Everest View, soaking in panoramic views of Mt. Everest and neighboring peaks. 

    Afterward, we’ll explore Namche Bazaar, immersing ourselves in the local culture and visiting nearby attractions.

  • Day 04: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

    Max Altitude: 3,860 meters

    Trek Hours: 5-6 hours

    Leaving Namche behind, we’ll trek to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery. 

    The trail winds through rhododendron forests and alpine meadows, offering glimpses of wildlife throughout the trek.

  • Day 05: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche

    Today is another rest day to allow our bodies to adjust to the altitude.

  • Day 07: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche

    Continuing our journey, we’ll trek to Lobuche, our final stop, before reaching Everest Base Camp.

  • Day 08: Trek to Gorakshep, then to Everest Base Camp, and back to Gorakshep

    Today is the highlight of our trek as we reach Everest Base Camp, the ultimate destination for adventurers. 

    We’ll trek to Gorakshep, then continue to Everest Base Camp, where we’ll marvel at the majestic beauty of the surrounding mountains. 

    After exploring the base camp, we’ll return to Gorakshep for the night.

  • Day 09: Hike to Kala Patthar and Trek to Lobuche

    Before dawn, we’ll hike to Kala Patthar for a spectacular sunrise view of Mt. Everest and neighboring peaks. 

    Afterward, we’ll trek back to Lobuche, enjoying stunning views of the Himalayas along the way.

  • Day 10: Trek to Lobuche High Camp (5,400m)
